Greener Pastures Farm Rams
Soay Sheep Flock Sires

Our breeding rams; past, present and future, are listed below.  Our rams are chosen for their genetic value, good horns, temperament, general health, conformation and even fleece type.  Some of our lines tend toward finer fleeces and some toward coarser; each has its value.

If you are interested in purchasing a ram listed in our Current & Future Flock Sires, contact us.  We may be able to reserve him for you after we have utilized his genetics in our own flock.

Despite the fact that we are no longer breeding Soay ewes, we will have some fine specimens of American and British Soay rams available in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Scroll down to see a few photos as well as the names of the 41 Soay rams we have utilized as flock sires on our farm between 2000 and 2007.
