2009 brings new Cascade rams. Above are 3 ram lambs from the Alpha line, and the youngest attempts to proclaim his dominance from the top of the compost pile!

At right are 9-day-old twin ram lambs, Johnny Reb and Jubilation, preparing to take an afternoon snooze with their dam. This trio is from the Beta bloodline.
CASCADE FARMSTEAD RAMS

Here are some of the Cascade Farmstead Rams that were born on our farm and utilized as flock sires in our own breeding program, or sold to become flock sires at another farm.

We do not sell our culls; we eat our culls. We guarantee the horns on our rams; if the horns on one of our rams do not clear the face with room to spare, we replace him for free. This guarantee does not include shipping costs.

Two of our first Cascade rams are shown at right at one year of age. Greener Pastures Avens (light colored fleece) and Greener Pastures Gentian were both utilized in our breeding program the previous year, and Gentian was later sold with 2 other Cascade rams and 3 Cascade ewes to begin the 2nd flock of Cascade Farmstead sheep!

More coming!

With thousands of photos to sort through, I promise there are more photos coming of the spectacular Cascade rams we've had in the past 3 years. Spring is a busy time on the farm, and I'm getting to it as fast as I can!
Greener Pastures Indigo & Juniper at 12 weeks of age. July 2008
Twelve-week-old twins, Greener Pastures Indigo and Juniper graze side by side. Indigo stayed at our farm to sire a number of our Beta bloodline lambs. His twin, Juniper, went to another farm in 2008 to become a flock sire there.
