3 ply yarn handspun from rooed Soay fleece

Slightly larger than full scale photo shows the detail of 3 ply Soay yarn that I spun from the rooed fleece of Blue Mountain Chloe, an American Soay sheep.  3 ply yarn consists of 3 strands of yarn spun together to make a stronger, thicker yarn.  In order to make 3 ply this thin, I spun the individual yarns spider-web thin!  Size 4 double pointed knitting needles (3.5mm) and size H crochet hook shown for scale.
